Another Day. Without a Haircut.
Ugh... I hate how fast my hair grows. Its ridiculous! I get a haircut one day, taking off three inches of five inch long hair, and bam. Three inches grown back in less than two weeks.
Here's a little story for you - I remember my first Prom photo shoot. I remember a week before my date and I took the photos I got a $30 haircut. I looked so fly with my new doo. I remember wasting those $30 because my hair grew back so fast it made me dizzy. I remember feeling like a complete ass looking like a frizzy liberal-cut midget fuck standing next to my "so-cute-complete-strangers-start-hitting-on-her" date. Fuck.
I remember during the summer of my sophomore year in high school, a good friend and I visited this very reputable barber shop. My hair back then was about half a foot long, and it was getting on my nerves, the constant straightening and maintenance was just ludicrous. I cut all of it off. All of it.
And to my dismay it grew back to the thick, shaggy mess that I came to hate. Within two months. Thats three and a half inches per month. In other words - an unbelievable three inches longer than a normal human. (see http://www.hairfinder.com/hairquestions/how_fast_does_hair_grow.htm)
How the fuck does that work out!? At least I know I won't be bald for a while. My dad is well into his sixties and still has a full head (albeit white) hair. But shit. I'm so stressed from life (mostly hair related?) that white hairs are already spangled across my head-jungle. Great.

Holy Shit!
Been a while! Yadda yadda /insertheartfeltspeechhere
Anyways, I decided to update my blog for the sake of one of my fellow bloggers. Matt Kang, owner of the Blue Yoshi blog just invited me to be one of his authors. (yay!) But not to worry! I will also be posting some personal things on this blog in case anyone cares.
So, for today I really have nothing to talk about! But. Go to Blue Yoshi. I have a post up already!

Updated Already!? New Record!
Okay so, just thought I should post some really cool stuff I've seen recently.
FIRST! SOME DR. TRAN!
Hehe, nothing like an asian at a campsite to make your day (i'm gonna kill you. XD). I want that chicken by the way. A talking chicken? That's epic.
Next up is a video I found recently. Apparently this has been going on for a while. Short mini-sodes of the awesome Haruhi Suzumiya called - The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya have sprung up on Youtube. I found these yesterday and apparently there are 20+ episodes out, but considering they only contain light jokes and no storyline whatsoever they arent much to brag about (Since they are only about 5 minutes long -.-). However, there are some funny ass moments in the series and they more than make up for the lack of a strong storyline - BUT! I STILL WANT MY HARUHI SUZUMIYA! MAKE A SECOND SEASON ALREADY YOU DAMN JAPANESE! RAWWR!!!!~
"HURRY AND JUMP! LET HIM COUNT YOU!" Poor Mikuru, I wouldn't count you if my life depended on it.
EXPAND!! UNTIL NEXT TIME! JAAAA NEH~

Okay. My blog is slow. I get it.
So, its nice to know that people out there (all five of you!) actually care about the progress of my slow ass blog. Its been two long unforgiving months - but I have finally updated!
First, school. APUSH is killing me, 2 chapters a day is a bitch but it needs to be done. With spring-break finally here I can finally play catch-up! Also, C-high projects seem to kill my social life like nothing else. I'm starting to wonder if its worth it. Easy A? Of course its worth it!
Second, hobbies. Along with most of the people I know, I haven't been able to watch my fair share of anime recently, not much has changed in 2 months when it comes down to it, but everything else seems to be picking up. Guitar and bass have been rewarding - music theory is pretty fun once you get into it, but learning how to construct scales and chords isn't. My camera and editing skills are at an all-time high too! All that time spent at C-high isn't a waste y'know? I recently made a commercial about the yearbook and I'm happy with the result, I also recieved big compliments about my sports filming from Ms. Gilmore, sometimes I think she trusts me with a $600 camera a little too much. But I guess i'm just THAT awesome. Teehee~~~
Third, things that are pissing me off. MONEY PROBLEMS! FUCK! I swear, our generation is meant to save the world from the mistakes our predecessors made. The economy is making it hard to find jobs, especially for teens. (Even though I never tried finding one >.>) BUT STILL! A guy could use some extra cash. Paying for prom, dragon-boating, and the day-to-day spending for our stupid adventures (CHUBBY BUNNY~ KUKUKU) can leave a wallet pretty thin. Also, this piece-of-crap computer i'm working on is always doing something wrong, for example - it is making the post i'm typing right now very difficult because the text on screen keeps disappearing. WHERE THE FUCK DOES IT GO RYAN!? THE HELL I KNOW! KUKUKU) SHIT I CANT SEE AGAIN!
Anyway, I'll post some cool stuff I found over the past two months in the next post. Hopefully tommorow, if not - then another two months XD

Finally!
I have finally updated my slow (very slow) blog! Sorry for the late update. Finals week = HELL.
Anyway, now that finals are over I plan on making some time for my blog (among other things). Besides updating my blog I am focusing on some video projects with a local small-time band. We plan on finishing a video by the end of February, but seeing as how slowly we have been progressing I doubt we can finish by the end of March -.-
So! With that said lets get to what I have been seeing recently. First, and by far the most important, is "Slumdog Millionare". This was the best movie I have ever seen. And im not exaggerating at all - its really THAT good. The strong point of the movie lies in its storytelling. The director managed to blur the line between past and present and patched them together to make the story seamless and very smooth. It had just the right amount of mystery and revealing, a little give-and-take that left the viewer hooked to the movie, it reveals key parts of the story and at the same time presents more mystery. Not only that, but the director of photography really deserves to be mentioned. The way he presented India from the inside shows what "slumdog" really means. The beginning of the movie - when the 2 main protaganists are still children - was very interesting to me. The scenes of the children running through a jungle of rickety tin shacks and cramped dirty alleys was a very defining point in the origins of Salim and... The other kid... >.> Anyways, I can't really think of any negative points to this movie. Aside from the gross-out factor in some scenes. (Like the kid jumping in a pile of... Well just watch the movie.) All in all.. WAIT! I FORGOT TO MENTION ONE THING!!! LATIKA! The actor for Latika is gorgeous.
So! Thats all I got for tonight. Hah. Not much for a 21 day update huh? AH WELL! So is the life of a young adolescent with nothing to do. Anyway, a little something for my music loving J-rock fanatics!
This is the ending song to Bounen no Xam'd (A really good anime that I have yet to finish) Fall-Q should cover this song! Fall-Q should be a J-rock Cover Band! (Its in English BTW, The lead singer is apparently from Arizona)

First Step Into The Blogging World
Wow! My first blog!! WOOO! Seeing as how blogs are a great way to share thoughts with friends (and possibly friends-to-be?) I decided to make one XD. Okay, where to get started... *Tries to think outside the box* Well, lets start off with some school stuff. *Epic phail on creativity*
Week of January 4 - 10, 2009
1) English - I totally failed the sentence structure test in Chapel - 18 out of 33 is bad right?
2) Chem - Easy stuff. Somehow I still have a B...
3) Espanol - Hmm k.
4) Apush - Faster pace in test taking might pose as a problem later in the year XD, I should start reading on the weekends. Or reading period.
5) Video Game Dev. - I honestly believe this shouldn't be considered a class. Its just drawing in Photoshop. Thats it. I regret signing up for this class.
6) Math - F**k Fas.
7) C-High - So far so good. Bad news: I didn't make anchor for second semester T.T But now I am the camera guy for Sports on Wednesdays. Expect great footage from our Mighty Dons.
Alritey. I'll try to post up some of my favorite viral vids or movies I've been working on, other than that I will try to keep this blog updated.
Anime. Just to let you know - there will be S**TLOADS of Japanese media on this blog. You have been warned.
